Licensing, Updates and Terms of Use

By purchasing this product, you agree to the following terms.

License Overview

  • The Python UI scripts are licensed under the GPLv3+.
  • The solver and native viewport runtime are shipped as precompiled, proprietary binaries. These include the unified solver for Particles, Pyro and Terrain, and the native GPU viewport libraries provided for each supported platform.
  • The included node asset content (bundled node definitions and generated node groups) is provided under a Royalty-Free License.
  • Your purchase includes lifetime Pro Particles Studio updates. No subscription or maintenance plan is required.

License terms are component-specific. See the included LICENSING_OVERVIEW.txt, LICENSE-ENGINE.txt, LICENSE-ASSETS.txt, and THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt for the complete distribution notices.

Key Terms of Use

  1. Usage: You may use the proprietary components (solver executables, native viewport libraries, node assets) for personal, educational, and commercial rendered works.
  2. Restrictions: You may not redistribute or resell the proprietary components, and reverse engineering of the solver executables or native viewport libraries is prohibited (except as allowed by law). Redistribution of GPL scripts must comply with the GPL.
  3. Disclaimer: The software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind. You assume all risk as to quality and performance. The author is not liable for any damages resulting from its use.
