FAQ

How should Curl Noise and Drag be combined?

Add Drag after Curl Noise to reduce straight-line momentum and make particles follow tighter curls. Adjust Drag's Coefficient to control how quickly their motion is damped.

How do I use Curves for particle motion?

When using curves (e.g., with the Follow Curve effect), use a Curve object. Effects that read curve paths do not treat a mesh converted from that curve as a curve source.

Why do frozen particles not create motion blur?

Frozen particles export zero velocity while frozen. This keeps motion blur clean when using Logic-based Freeze and Unfreeze setups.

Why does the first reset take longer?

The first simulation run prepares Pro Particles Studio for your GPU. Wait for the progress display to finish. Later starts are usually faster; an update to the graphics driver, Blender or the add-on can require this preparation again.

Where do I start with Terrain?

Open the Pro Terrain sidebar and editor. Terrain uses a static node graph, independently of particle playback. Start with Pro Terrain or the Mountain to Export case study. For missing previews, drawing issues or export failures, see Terrain Troubleshooting.
